Job summary

FedEx is seeking a warehouse operative in Boston, MA to safely operate equipment for moving packages, documents, and heavyweight freight. You will assist with pallet buildup/breakdown and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed, while performing other duties as assigned.

The role requires physical capability to lift heavy weights, endure walking and standing for long shifts, and operate in a noisy environment. Drug screen and valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver heavy packages in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication in a noisy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to move packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods, and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor; perform other duties as assigned.
