Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Denver is seeking a Part-Time Material Handler to safely operate equipment used for moving packages and heavyweight freight. You will assist in the buildup and breakdown of pallets and liaise with ULD repair vendors as required.

Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level, walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and complete basic training. A valid driver’s license and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages and heavyweight freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Acts as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
