Job summary

JCB North America is seeking an experienced Welder at our Pooler, GA facility to perform advanced welding and fabrication on skid steers and heavy equipment. You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and ensure high-quality welds that meet safety and production standards.

The role requires MIG, SMAW, and TIG proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety and 5S practices. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years welding/fabrication in manufacturing.
• Pass welding tests and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery.
• Perform MIG/SMAW/TIG welding as required.
• Fabricate, fit, grind and prepare materials for welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance.
• Load/unload parts with proper material handling equipment.
• Operate press brakes, grinders, and related tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects; support CI initiatives.
• Maintain clean, organized work area per 5S and safety rules.
• Adhere to PPE requirements; work overtime or varied shifts as needed.
