Job summary

JCB North America seeks a Welder in Pooler, GA to perform advanced welding and fabrication on skid steers, backhoe loaders, and heavy equipment. Second shift 4:00PM–2:30AM. Responsibilities include MIG/SMAW/TIG welding, blueprint reading, setup, and inspection.

Requires 3+ years of welding experience, ability to pass tests, and a welding certification is preferred. Benefits include a comprehensive package and 5S safety compliance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years welding/fabrication in manufacturing.
• Experience with MIG (GMAW) and ability to produce consistent welds.
• Must pass welding tests and pre-employment screening (drug, background).
• Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations (MIG, SMAW, TIG as required).
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and fabrication machinery.
• Fabricate by fitting, grinding, and preparing materials for welding.
• Inspect welds for quality, safety, and standards compliance.
• Operate related fabrication tools and material handling equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects; support CI initiatives.
• Maintain clean, organized work area per 5S and PPE rules.
