Job summary

JCB North America is seeking a skilled Welder to perform advanced welding and fabrication for skid steers, backhoes, and heavy equipment at our Pooler, GA facility. The role supports production with high-quality welds meeting strict standards on a fast-paced line, on the second shift from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM.

Must have a minimum of 3 years welding/fabrication experience in manufacturing, the ability to pass welding tests and pre-employment screenings, and proficiency in MIG, SMAW, and TIG as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass welding test(s) and pre-employment requirements (drug screen, background, etc.).
• Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations, including MIG, SMAW and TIG as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and fabrication machinery.
• Perform fabrication tasks including fitting, grinding, cutting, and preparing materials for welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and safety standards.
• Load and unload parts using material handling equipment.
• Operate press brakes, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects and fabrication issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S and safety standards.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
