Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Utility Operator to support asphalt operations in Clinton, MD. You will operate a fuel truck with CDL Class B endorsements, maintain heavy equipment, and perform preventive maintenance to keep fleets running safely.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in heavy equipment or diesel maintenance, and the ability to diagnose issues and assist with repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a technical/trade program in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum CDL Class B with endorsements; manual/auto transmission experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on heavy equipment maintenance or utility operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility equipment supporting daily asphalt operations.
• Drive and fuel trucks; CDL required and must pass safety procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and assist repairs.
