Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Tack Truck Operator for our Asphalt division in Maryland. You will safely operate a TCT truck to transport asphalt materials to paving sites and support asphalt operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid CDL (Class A or B) with Tankers Endorsement, and has experience on Maryland roadway projects. Daily travel and outdoor work in varying weather are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working on Maryland roadway projects is required.
• Daily travel is required and reliable transportation is a must.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with Tankers Endorsement is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a TCT truck in asphalt paving operations.
• Transport asphalt materials to and from job sites.
• Load, unload, and maneuver materials as directed by the paving crew.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding crew members and equipment at all times.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow company safety policies, DOT regulations, and site rules.
• Assist with general paving operations when needed.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies on all worksites.
