Job summary

CraneWorks/RentalWorks in Decatur, AL is seeking a Shop Service Technician to maintain and repair mobile rental/construction equipment and on-highway trucks. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using OEM software and diagnostic tools.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires ability to work nights and weekends, perform preventative maintenance, document service reports, and uphold safety standards in a busy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on RentalWorks and customer-owned equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using OEM software and diagnostic tools.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports and uphold safety standards.
