Job summary

ALL Crane Rental of Alabama, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician and Mechanic to service cranes and heavy equipment in Theodore, AL. This full-time, non-exempt role includes a comprehensive benefits package and a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of employment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining cranes and heavy trucks, reading manuals and drawings, and documenting actions. Prior experience with Kenworth/Peterbilt is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Solid diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background.
• Basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
• CDL is desired but not required.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and extreme conditions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair cranes, heavy-duty trucks, and lift equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings for guidance.
• Interact with service writers, supervisors, parts, and customers.
• Document actions taken and parts used.
• Operate diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain safety compliance and adhere to regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
