Job summary

CraneWorks of Alabama, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair mobile rental/construction equipment and on-highway trucks.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, using OEM software and diagnostic tools. Experience with on-highway trucks, diesel engines, and brakes preferred; must pass background and drug screening, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Use OEM software and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on rental equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all RentalWorks and customer owned equipment
• Operate and test equipment during rental ready process
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment
• Diagnose and repair equipment using electronic diagnostic equipment
• Assist in rebuild and repair of major machine components
• Assist in identifying repairs covered by warranty
• Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Uphold and practice high safety standards
• Other duties as assigned
