Job summary

Craneworks is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair mobile rental and construction equipment, including on-highway trucks. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and use OEM software and diagnostic tools to complete repairs.

The role requires valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with safety protocols in a busy shop and yard environment. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically and mentally fit
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Basic rental equipment operation
• Able to operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on RentalWorks and customer owned equipment
• Operate and test equipment during rental ready process
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment
• Diagnose and repair equipment using electronic diagnostic equipment
• Assist in rebuild and repair of major machine components
• Identify repairs covered by warranty
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Uphold high safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
