Job summary

CraneWorks in Brighton, CO is seeking a Shop Crane Technician to inspect, diagnose and repair a range of mobile crane equipment. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, and the ability to read manuals and blueprints.

You will work under the Service Manager, with overtime and occasional travel for field duties. Our shop techs typically handle 40–50 hours per week, depending on needs, and must have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mobile crane mechanic/technician experience.
• Ability to inspect and diagnose cranes and read manuals/blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory record.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel 1–4 day intervals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose cranes to identify defects.
• Test mechanical, electronic, hydraulic systems after repair.
• Read operating and parts manuals, blueprints.
• Fill out reports and work orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication.
• Operate cranes and perform maintenance per OEM specs.
