Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician in Florida to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment. The role involves working on makes and models from aerial lifts to pumps and HVAC gear, maintaining safety and efficiency while meeting downtime targets.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.
