Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators. You will work within a safety-focused team and a business that values skill-building and internal career growth.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1–3 years of diesel or heavy equipment technician experience. Location varies; rate depends on experience and location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred
• Preferred: experience with large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to avoid downtime
• Work with an incredible team in a safety-focused environment

Skills

Hydraulic systems knowledge
