Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. seeks a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and other equipment.

You will gain hands-on experience across makes and models while contributing to safe, reliable operation on job sites. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and solid knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot confidently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with a safety-focused team to ensure proper operation of fleet.
• Assist in handling a variety of equipment, including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC, and generators.
