Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial platforms and pumps. You’ll work with a safety-first team to keep equipment in optimal condition and minimize downtime across locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, and the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade training desired.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems for diagnostics.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work safely and efficiently on a variety of makes and models, including generators and pumps.
• Assist in troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems as needed.
