Pape’ Material Handling, Inc. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Rental Shop & Field Technician / Mechanic to service and repair industrial equipment both in the shop and in the field.

This role emphasizes equipment uptime and customer support, with a pathway for career growth within a large, established company. The ideal candidate brings extensive forklift and diesel/gas engine repair experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience with industrial IC and electric forklifts.
• 7+ years experience with terminal tractors or yard spotters.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs; diesel and gas engine repair.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs.
• Rental industry experience is preferred.
