Job summary

All Roads in Seymour is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician Mechanic to diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, welding as needed, and clear communication with the Service Manager.

Strong diagnostic skills in hydraulics and electronics are important, along with safety focus. Full-time opportunity with competitive hourly pay, production bonuses, and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulic and electrical diagnostic capability.
• Previous experience working on heavy equipment or heavy duty trucks.
• Proficient ability to document in CDK.
• Detail oriented, organized, safety focused and team player.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions including hydraulic & electrical experience.
• Welding as needed.
• Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager.
• Create accurate repair estimates, CDK experience a plus.
• Communicate with OEM/factory for technical assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

Are you a self-starter who enjoys working with diesel engines and problem solving? We are excited to bring on a new addition as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. This role will diagnose, service, and repair Vermeer and related construction equipment. If you're mechanically inclined, hands-on, and ready to build a career with a supportive team, we want to hear from you today!

Compensation & Schedule

• $30-$40 per hour (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available
• Sign on bonus up to $5000 for qualified candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions including hydraulic & electrical experience
• Welding as needed
• Recognize and recommend appropriate repairs to the Service Manager
