Job summary

Jack B. Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled mechanic to repair and maintain construction equipment across Utah and Wasatch counties. Swing shift, must have own tools, and be available for some weekends and holidays.

You will service trucks, bulldozers, excavators, and support vehicles, perform preventative maintenance, read manuals, and order parts as needed. Valid driver's license required; strong teamwork and safety focus essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of experience as a skilled automotive mechanic with heavy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work on weekends/holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots problems, making economical and durable repairs.
  • Dismantles devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
  • Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment.
  • Services vehicles/equipment, performs preventive maintenance, and maintains schedules.
