Job summary

EquipmentShare in the North Bay Area, CA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of rental machinery and aerial lifts. You’ll use our tech to manage work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues with access to data across many makes and models.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, own tools, and experience with construction equipment.

Qualifications

• Owns necessary diagnostic and hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude across hydraulic, diesel, electrical systems.
• Experience with construction equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign and monitor work orders.
• Track service intervals and order parts.
• Diagnose issues across multiple makes/models.
• Maintain electronic work order documentation daily.
• Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery as needed.
• Follow OSHA requirements; participate in training.
• Support training of junior technicians.
