Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at our Minot, ND facility. You will maintain and repair a diverse fleet of heavy equipment and aerial lifts, using real-time data to diagnose issues and determine corrective actions.

Responsibilities include managing work orders, tracking service intervals, and assisting with parts delivery. OSHA awareness, tool ownership, and strong customer service are essential, with opportunities for OEM training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Owns tools applicable to the position.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with understanding of schematics and diagrams.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders with real-time data.
• Track service intervals and order parts.
• Diagnose issues quickly and determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
• Participate in OEM training and other duties as needed.
