Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) at our Golden, CO facility to perform maintenance and repair on a range of rental and customer equipment. You’ll use diagnostics, order parts, and manage service intervals to keep the fleet in top condition.

The role offers Monday–Friday hours, OT after 40 hours, and on-call with additional pay. OSHA awareness and safety training are valued, with OEM training provided year-round.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; trade school certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred.
• Must own tools applicable to position.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track service intervals.
• Order parts and diagnose issues using data from multiple models.
• Maintain safety and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in training lower level technicians.
• Document work performed daily (paperwork/electronic).
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Year-round OEM training.
