Job summary

EquipmentShare seeks a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) for our Oshkosh, WI facility. You will maintain and repair diverse heavy equipment and aerial lifts, using OEM data and our tech platform.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and documenting work. Travel to customer sites when needed, with on‑call opportunities and ongoing training to stay at the cutting edge of the fleet.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school preferred.
• Field service, maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be 21+ to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using our tech platform.
• Track machine service intervals and order parts as needed.
• Diagnose issues across multiple makes/models to determine root cause and corrective action.
• Maintain and document work performed (paperwork/electronic) daily.
• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts.
• Travel to customer sites for repair/maintenance when required.
• Year‑round OEM training provided; other duties as assigned.
