SitePro Rentals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Shop Technician II to diagnose and repair advanced diesel and gasoline engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, A/C, and ECM software.

You will perform complex repairs on engines, pumps, controllers, and track assemblies, ensuring repairs meet SitePro standards and safety guidelines. You will mentor junior technicians, lead by example in quality and craftsmanship, and work in a safety-first shop environment that values dependable

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant equipment repair experience and a high school diploma/equivalent or trade school education preferred.
• Diagnose and repair advanced diesel and gasoline engine, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, and electronic control system issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment using schematics, diagnostic tools, and scan equipment.
• Handle complex repairs: engines, pumps, hydraulic motors, controllers, valves, and track assemblies.
• Ensure workmanship meets manufacturer and SitePro standards through inspections and cost control.

You’ll share what you know, mentor developing technicians, and help set the standard for quality, safety, and craftsmanship across the team.What You’ll DoDiagnose and repair equipment: Troubleshoot advanced diesel and gasoline engine, electrical, hydraulic, A/C, and electronic control system issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and scan equipment.Handle complex repairs: Remove, rebuild, repair, install, and adjust major machine components, including engines, pumps, hydraulic motors, controllers, valves, and track assemblies.Own the quality of the work: Perform failure analysis and quality inspections, plan and manage repair costs, identify and order parts, and make sure repairs meet manufacturer and SitePro standards.Lead by example: Work safely, care for company equipment, support customers, communicate with shop leadership, and mentor junior technicians through hands-on guidance and training.What You’ll BringAt least 3 years of relevant equipment repair experience, with a high school diploma/equivalent or trade school education preferred.Advanced knowledge of dirt-engaging, aerial, and lifting equipment, including diesel/gas engines, electrical and hydraulic schematics, A/C systems, ECM software, and diagnostic troubleshooting.Strong mechanical ability, including experience with component rebuilding, failure analysis, quality inspections, forklifts, overhead cranes, and a complete assortment of appropriate hand tools.A safety-first mindset, strong communication skills, dependable attendance, and the ability to teach others, adapt to changing workloads, and meet customer needs.Why You’ll Love Working With UsYou’ll join a hardworking team that values your experience, trusts you to do the job right, and puts safety and people first.
