Job summary

Sammons Industrial is seeking an on-site Equipment Service Technician in Tampa, FL. You’ll diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, lifting systems, and other components for customer sites and in the shop.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of equipment repair, strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, and the ability to travel and be on-call. Valid driver’s license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment repair experience or related field.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools are required.
• Willingness to travel and operate on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, lifting systems and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and basic welding.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts, and supplies, and a clean vehicle.
• Follow safety requirements and complete required training.
