Job summary

Dynamic Equipment is seeking an experienced, motivated Heavy Equipment Service Writer/Administrator to join our Service Department. This role acts as the vital link between customers, technicians, and management to ensure a smooth check-in through repair completion.

You’ll prepare estimates, write repair orders, document concerns, and communicate status and parts availability. Bilingual English/Spanish and software proficiency are highly valued; a high school diploma and 3–5 years in a service

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Service Writer/Advisor or similar role, heavy equipment industry preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficient.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn dealer software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret service reports and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and identify service, maintenance, and repair needs.
• Write repair orders and document customer concerns.
• Communicate repairs, estimates, parts, and completion times to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians to understand equipment issues.
• Prepare estimates, obtain approvals, and provide repair updates.
• Maintain accurate customer, equipment, and repair records in dealership systems.
• Monitor open repair orders and follow up to keep jobs progressing.
