Job summary

Vermeer All Roads in Annapolis Junction, MD is hiring a Service Advisor to serve as the first point of contact for our service department. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working around heavy equipment.

You’ll coordinate repairs, communicate timelines, and ensure a first-class customer experience. Prior service advisor experience is required; heavy equipment background preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous service writing/advisor experience required.
• Heavy-duty or heavy-equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and act as liaison between customers and the dealership.
• Schedule service appointments and prepare accurate estimates.
• Advise customers on maintenance based on manufacturer specifications.
• Create, update, and document repair and work orders.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to drive retention and referrals.
• Proactively update customers on repair status, estimate changes, and pickup timing.
