Job summary

The Preventive Maintenance Mechanic at lrsrecycles in Indianapolis is responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on the fleet of heavy equipment. Qualifications

• Completion of college or vocational/technical training is preferred.
• Experience performing routine maintenance operations is required.
• Must have own tools; large impact tools may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Perform services, diagnostics, and parts replacement for company fleet.
• Aid in repairs and adjustments or replacements on components and systems such as tires, hoses, and electrical systems.
• Service conveyors and various sorting equipment.
• Complete and maintain records of servicing operations such as work orders and daily status reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
