Job summary

LRS in Indianapolis seeks a dedicated Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on the company fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment, including wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts, and grinders.

You will work in a team environment under a Shop Manager, with overtime opportunities, and must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and operate safely in garages or workshops.

Qualifications

• Experience with routine maintenance operations is required.
• Waste industry experience is a plus.
• A valid CDL driver license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy vehicles, equipment, machinery, and facilities.
• Perform services, diagnostics, and parts replacement for company fleet.
• Aid in the repair and adjustments or replacements on a variety of components and systems such as tires, hoses, and electrical systems.
• Service conveyors and various sorting equipment.
• Complete and maintain records of servicing operations such as work orders and daily status reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
