Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair work on heavy equipment across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. You will also handle preventive maintenance, parts inventory, and record-keeping, while coordinating with yard managers for scheduling and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical degree highly desired.
• Hydraulic, electrical, and diesel maintenance experience highly desired.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be willing to complete, and successfully pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fuel, electrical, mechanical, brake, and hydraulic systems on a wide range of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and brake service on all Heavy Equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records of all work performed.
• Order and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with yard General Managers to schedule maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Operate assigned vehicles, equipment, and hand tools safely.
• Follow SA Recycling safety and environmental procedures in all tasks.
