Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines using heavy equipment. This full-time position involves transporting equipment across multiple states and performing vegetation management tasks nationwide for utility customers.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, willingness to obtain CDL, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Driver license required.
• CDL preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR checks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Travel to multiple-state work locations.
• Work in various weather and temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment (bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, stump grinders).
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, barb wire.
• Gathers brush, feeds to wood chipper.
• Applies herbicide to right-of-way following procedures.
• Performs maintenance on equipment.
• Works around hazardous equipment and noisy environments.
• Works in all weather and on uneven ground.
• Uses chainsaw for brush and tree work.
