Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate forklifts, loaders, cranes, and other MHE in support of Army equipment turn-in operations at Fort Carson, Colorado. You will move, load, unload, and stage vehicles and materiel, ensuring safety and compliance with Army and contract requirements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2–4 years of heavy equipment experience, preferably in military or contractor settings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2–4 years of heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
Experience in military or contractor environments desirable.
Ability to travel up to 75% and extended periods away may be required.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, loaders, cranes, and other heavy equipment.
Support equipment turn-in operations by moving vehicles and materiel between staging, inspection, and storage areas.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers in accordance with safety standards.
Perform PMCS on equipment before, during, and after use.
Maintain operator logs and equipment inspection records.
Adhere to Army, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
