Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to support U.S. Army Equipment Turn-In operations. The role requires operating and maintaining MHE and construction machinery, ensuring safe movement of vehicles and materiel at a contractor site.

Responsibilities include PMCS, securing loads, logging operations, and coordinating with Supply Technicians and Truck Drivers. Travel up to 25% is expected, with compliance to Army regs and ISO 9001 quality practices.

Formación

• High school diploma preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Army OF 346 operator’s license required (or ability to obtain).
• Forklift/MHE certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklifts, loaders, cranes, and RTCHs as directed.
• Move vehicles and materiel between staging, inspection, and storage areas.
• Perform PMCS and report deficiencies.
• Maintain operator logs and usage records for audit readiness.
• Coordinate with Supply Technicians, Material Coordinators, and Truck Drivers.
