Job summary

Lhoist North America is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to expertly manage and maintain all mobile equipment in the facility. You will assist with quarry blasting and backfilling as needed, and pass required ATF background checks.

The role includes plant utility tasks and adherence to safety and quality standards. The position requires ability to perform heavy lifting and work shifts, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of relative previous experience.
• Must pass ATF background check.
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Heavy Equipment Operation: Safe operation of mobile equipment (loader, trucks, skid steer, backhoe, drill).
• Plant Utility: Cleaning and utility tasks, shipping/loading, inspections.
• Environmental, Health and Safety: Follow safety policies, maintain clean work environment, promote safety.
