Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Crusher Operator to operate and monitor crushing plant equipment, ensure safe and continuous production, and support material processing for stockpiling and kiln feed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow safety regulations. A technical background and experience with heavy equipment are preferred; candidates should be comfortable in a dusty, loud quarry environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Demonstrated safety and PPE compliance in industrial settings.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools safely.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math; basic computer use.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushers, screens, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Maintain material flow and production efficiency while ensuring safety.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment; report issues promptly.
• Direct haul truck traffic and communicate dumping locations.
• Assist with routine maintenance and housekeeping in the plant.
• Record production data and support safety and quality initiatives.
