Job summary

Charah Solutions, Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment operator to safely operate backhoes, loaders, dozers, excavators, and graders in a construction setting. The role requires 3+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with grade control and landscape elevations per engineered plans.

The operator will perform routine maintenance, coordinate with crew members, and adhere to safety regulations while contributing to ash management and landfill-related projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience operating heavy equipment in construction or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with GPS grading systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or move materials using heavy construction equipment.
• Drive and maneuver equipment over working areas to distribute and level earth.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and identify maintenance needs.
• Follow safety regulations and perform other duties as assigned.
