Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking an Equipment Operator to run dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks and other heavy equipment for paving, grading and moving earth materials. You will perform daily inspections and maintain equipment in a clean and safe condition.

You will load materials, move earth, and ensure safety, environmental, and compliance standards are followed at all times on job sites across North America. A valid driver’s license and basic literacy are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of related work experience.
• Ability to read and write.
• Excellent driving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment to load trucks and move materials.
• Maintain equipment by keeping it clean and in order.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
• Load material into bins, crushers, trucks, or plant.
• Move earth or other materials between locations.
• Conduct basic equipment inspections and minor repairs as needed.
• Complete paperwork and assist with other duties as required.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental policies on all sites.
