Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to support paving, grading and material handling on critical infrastructure projects in Canon City, CO. You will operate dozers, loaders, excavators and haul trucks, performing inspections and ensuring safe operation daily.

The role requires at least one year of related experience, a valid driver's license and strong safety awareness. You will work extended shifts as needed and contribute to a culture of efficiency and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexibility to work extended shifts and varying schedules as needed.
• Ability to read and write.
• Excellent driving skills.
• Strong safety orientation.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks) to move materials.
• Perform routine inspections and keep equipment clean and safe.
• Follow safety, environmental, and compliance requirements at all times.
• Load material into bins, crushers or trucks and move earth as needed.
• Complete paperwork as required and assist with other duties.
