Job summary

Centuri is seeking an Equipment Operator in Wichita, Kansas. After paid training, you will operate heavy equipment to move earth, tools, and materials on job sites. You will report to a Foreman and contribute to a crew focused on teamwork and safety.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1+ year of equipment operation near workers and utilities. Training, safety instructions, and union requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Experience safely operating heavy equipment near workers and underground utilities.
• Ability to load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grader, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
