Job summary

Centuri is seeking an Equipment Operator at Fort Riley, KS, with paid training and opportunities to operate a range of heavy equipment to support utility and energy infrastructure projects. You will report to a Foreman and join a crew that emphasizes teamwork and safety on site.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1+ year of experience operating equipment near workers and underground utilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ year experience safely operating equipment near workers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment including skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grater, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
