Job summary

Centuri in the United States seeks an Equipment Operator to join a field crew. After paid training, you will safely operate heavy equipment and assist with general labor on job sites.

Reports to Foreman and works with a crew to move earth, tools and materials, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of equipment operation near workers and underground utilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1+ year experience safely operating equipment near workers and underground utilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grader, hydro-excavator, track hoe.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications.
