Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas, seeks an Equipment Operator after paid training to safely move earth, tools and materials on job sites under a foreman. You will join a crew and assist with general labor as needed while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and 1+ year experience operating equipment near workers and underground utilities. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience operating equipment near workers and utilities.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grater, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
