Job summary

Centuri is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator for hands-on, on-site duties at our construction sites. After paid training, you will safely operate a range of heavy equipment, move earth and materials, and support the crew under a Foreman.

Teamwork and safety are core values for this role. You will perform pre-shift inspections, assist with general labor, and help maintain equipment and operations in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience safely operating equipment near workers and underground utilities.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoe, trencher, paver, dozer, milling saw, road grater, hydro-excavator, track hoe and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
