Job summary

Twin Oaks Landfill in Texas is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support disposal operations, waste receiving, and landfill construction. You will operate a range of equipment including bulldozers, loaders, compactors, and dump trucks under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of heavy equipment experience; a Class A or B CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Preferred Class A or B CDL, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of light to heavy equipment used in landfill construction and waste handling.
• Participate in preventative and corrective maintenance and inspections.
• Move, compact, and cover waste; assist with land clearing and hauling.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
