• MSD Level 1-3 completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and asphalt grinding machines to complete planned highway maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate activities with regional personnel and other agencies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor/major repairs on assigned equipment.
• Instruct and guide support personnel in operation and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Document and report maintenance activities for supervisory review.
• Respond to emergencies affecting the state route system as needed.
