Job summary

MasTec, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX seeks an Equipment Operator-Medium to operate excavators, dozers, loaders, forklifts and more for heavy civil, industrial, and wind projects. You will perform earthwork, material handling and trenching while following safety procedures and coordinating with the crew.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of related experience with heavy equipment and a strong safety mindset. Travel to multiple job sites may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience and/or training in heavy equipment.
• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Must follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavator, dozer, loaders, forklift, backhoe.
• Perform site tasks: material handling, grading, trenching, earthwork.
• Coordinate with crew using hand/audio signals.
• Perform routine maintenance and document reports.
• Travel to different jobsites as needed.
