MasTec in Texas is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and other heavy machinery on construction and wind projects. You will be responsible for material handling, grading, and site preparation with strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in related roles and at least 1 year operating heavy equipment. The job requires good communication, teamwork, and the ability to work up to 12 hours outdoors in varied conditions.

Formación

• 1–3 years related experience or training or equivalent combination.
• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation manuals.
• Ability to communicate clearly on-site and understand signals.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy equipment and know functions, running, navigating, detecting problems.
• Excavate, level earth, and move materials using heavy equipment.
• Coordinate with crew using hand or audio signals.
• Perform routine maintenance and fill out maintenance reports.
• Travel to different jobsites as needed.
