Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience operating heavy equipment (Haul Truck, Bulldozer, Excavator).
• Able to travel up to 80% to various locations.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to work nights/weekends as required.
• Eye contact with co-workers and use of hand signals when backing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment of various sizes in pit/mining operations.
• Report problems to your manager.
• Maintain a safe work environment for self and co-workers.
• Use hand signals and eye contact when backing with co-workers.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA safety rules and company policies.
• Assist in training less-experienced staff.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Perform general labor duties as needed.
