Job summary

Standard Construction Co. (a CRH company) is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our mining and construction team in the region.

You will safely operate heavy equipment such as dozers, track hoes, loaders, and haul trucks in open pit operations while maintaining a strong safety mindset. Candidates should have at least three years of equipment experience, be willing to travel up to 80% of the time, and adhere to OSHA and MSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Strong commitment to safety and OSHA/MSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment in pit and mining operations.
• Follow Foreman directions and daily task expectations.
• Perform routine servicing and minor repairs.
• Complete pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation.
• Train less-experienced coworkers on operations.
• Perform general labor and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
