Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in pit/mining/open environments.
• Ability to follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work nights/weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in pit and mining operations
• Report any problems to your manager
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and co-workers
• Use hand signals and maintain eye contact when backing in teams
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation
• Assist in training less-experienced employees
• Perform general labor duties as needed
• Travel to various locations up to 80% of time
